Romar is a registered civil engineer and real estate salesperson. He was born and raised in Iloilo and spent his younger years in the province actively involved in various organizations such as the Sangguniang Kabataan, Youth Ministry, Parish Choir and to a Multi-Level Networking Business before he became a full-fledged Civil Engineer.
Prior to his engagement to various businesses, he had notable and extensive professional experience of over twenty years in the government, LGU and gaming industry, holding key responsibilities. He received citations as one of the Outstanding SK Finalists in the Province of Iloilo, Model Supervisor for Administrative Division for three consecutive years and topnotcher of PAGCOR First-Level Leaders Training Course, a pellucid proof of his laudable contributions to the Philippine government.
Romar utilized his administrative and technical expertise in managing the construction and operations of ice manufacturing plants. Romar provided leadership and mentorship to plant managers of various ice plant businesses in Metro Manila and Luzon. He developed their personnel to improve on their skills, communication and relationship with suppliers, customers and co-workers.
His experiences and work-related background certainly made him a good negotiator for business owners and government institutions. His recent exposure with several industries includes real estate developers, foreign investors, manufacturing and commercial establishment industries such as gas stations, fast food chains and mini supermarkets. Sales is second nature to Romar. He is an asset to both private and public sectors and foreign corporations.
